In essence, man was created to be just like God IS in the heavens. God reigns over heaven and earth, but He gave Man dominion over all the earth.
With this dominion, Man becomes the undisputed ruler over all that is in the Earth. Under man’s dominion and power, all living things are subdued by his control. Like God, Man has several attributes that operate for him at his discretion.
Man can call things into existence. If he wills himself, he can speak into the atmosphere and give life or death to that which he speaks.
MEE​T THE AUTHOR
Min. Kelvin L. Lyons was born in Lake Providence, LA. He began his primary education in the East Carroll Parish School System. He went on to graduate high school from Star Spencer High School of Spencer, OK on May 30, 1995. As a teenager, he began to have spiritual encounters and happenings in his life that produced a closer walk with God. In the spring of 1996, he sensed the call of God for ministry upon his life and moved to Ferriday, LA where he currently serves in the capacity of associate minister and choir director for the local assembly.
In January, 2003, he went on to pursue higher education at Alcorn State University where he obtained his Bachelors of Science in Vocal Music Performance in May, 2008.
Then the scripture turns around and says to us that as many as received Him – Jesus Christ, he gave them, power, to become the sons of God (John 1:12). Continuing his education, he pursued a Masters of Secondary Education with emphasis in School Guidance and Counseling also from Alcorn State University. After graduation, he went on to be employed in several school districts in the capacity of counselor and teacher. He is currently pursuing a doctorate of educational leadership.
In December of 2006, he was licensed, by virtue of the S.D. James Evangelistic Association and its Pentecostal Churches WW, Inc., to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
He was later anointed by the late Prophet S.D. James to bear the testimony of Jesus Christ. Daily, as he progresses forward in the Joshua Generation, it is his desire to fulfill the will of God for his life.
